When sixteen leading squads of the Visegrad Group region report to one lobby, the margin of error shrinks to zero. The two-day Digital Warriors 26 – V4 Cup finals on the eWave.gg platform brought an absolute display of Polish dominance. Two of our four teams stood on the podium, collecting a total of EUR 2,000 from the prize pool.
STUCKERS out of reach. One-actor theater
The STUCKERS formation left their rivals in no doubt from the first to the last match. They accumulated 138 points on the scoreboard, including as many as 93 eliminations and a whopping 45 points from their positions alone, a balance that no one could argue with. The Czechs from Knedlíčci's team (107 points) could only watch helplessly as the Poles collected the championship title and a check for EUR 1,500.
The key to STUCKERS' triumph turned out to be ruthless aggression supported by iron shooting discipline. In total, over the course of twelve battles, they racked up almost 15,000 damage (14,970 DMG). Pufax was the absolute driving force of the team and the undisputed MVP of the entire competition. His statistics are at the international level: 31 eliminations and 5272 damage points. Pufax resolved key battles with cold blood, but he did not have to play alone. 67miksuu added 24 kills and 15 assists, playing with a cool head as the perfect team closure. KnorkiS and Kartoofel had 20 and 18 kills respectively, cementing an advantage that no one was able to eliminate.
Bronze dudes after the tactical war of nerves
Ziomeczki finished on the lowest step of the podium, completing the Polish festival in the final three. The equal 100 points (39 for placement and 61 frags) guaranteed them a prize of EUR 500 and the status of the third power of the competition.
The guys impressed primarily with their tactical maturity and consistent zone control. The real terror of the rivals was kileq-, who recorded as many as 4,209 points of damage, along with 18 eliminations and 13 assists. On the edges of subsequent districts, MajsterZ-, the author of 19 frags and 3,900 DMG, ruled. The squad was consistently complemented by 1skiiki (10 frags), EnoToBo (9 frags and over 3,000 damage) and the rotating AWMaestro with 5 eliminations, giving the team stability that allowed it to repel any attacks from foreign competitors.
A hard lesson for CPN and RLC
The remaining two Polish teams found out how high the thresholds can be in the 16-team final. CPN finished the competition in 9th place with 62 points. The team was able to survive the difficult zone phases (30 placement points), but it lacked a decisive impact in direct 4v4 clashes - only 32 eliminations in 12 matches closed the way to the fight for higher places. Among the CPN players, ZlotyKat deserved distinction as he was the only one who scored a double-digit number of frags (12), as well as Karznu (10 kills). Mel0ddyye (6 frags) and szysuu (4 frags) were looking for support in the game, but the damage balance of the entire squad - although surprisingly equal and oscillating around 2.2-2.3 thousand per player - turned out to be insufficient for the fast paced leaders.
In turn, the RLC players had to accept the superiority of their rivals, finishing the tournament in the lower parts of the table. On the tight maps of Erangel and Miramar, the formation too often lost players during rapid rotations under fire. The brightest point of the formation was SALCESONIX1VS4, which took 8 eliminations. Bartk3, M4NDARYN and GramaNii (all 7 frags) and KAPTTTAN (5 frags) also recorded solid fragments, but in 12 battles they lacked repeatability and points for final positions.
Polish PUBG dictates the conditions in the region
The Digital Warriors 26 – V4 Cup finals clearly showed what the balance of power in regional PUBG looks like today. Gold for the unrivaled STUCKERS and bronze for the calculating Ziomeczki is a clear signal that Polish teams can not only dominate the servers, but also dictate the conditions of the game from the first to the last minute.
